2025 AUSKF National Jodo Seminar

Held from December 5-8, 2025 in Detroit, Michigan, this event is a major gathering for practitioners of Jodo, the Japanese art of the short staff. Hosted by the All United States Kendo Federation (AUSKF) and Canadian Kendo Federation (CKF) the seminar features instruction from six teachers, including two distinguished 8th Dan Hanshi from Japan.

The seminar will cover Kihon (basic techniques), the 12 Seitei Jodo kata, and testing requirements for rank advancement. It’s a rare opportunity to train under top-level instructors and deepen your understanding of standard Jodo practices.

Shinsa will be offered up to 4th Dan. Shinsa Registration is now closed (Nov. 5).
