Congratulations to all the Kosho members promoted at the Fall CKF Jodo Seminar in Toronto!!! Isaballa Bonner – Ikkyu, Evan Jones -1st Dan, & Paul Tarvin 2nd Dan. The seminar was led by the current head of Jodo in Japan, Kurogo Sensei, and also the previous head of Jodo, Shiiya Sensei.
The group also stopped in Detroit to train at Peter Boylan’s dojo with another guest instructor from Japan, Okumoto Sensei.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this this a great an memorable road trip!!!
Congratulations to all of the Kosho students that were promoted in Guelph, Ontario over the weekend! Tom Dougherty, Paul Tarvin, and Mark Tarvin were promoted to Sho Dan (black belt) in Jo-Do. Evan Jones and Travis Volz were promoted to Ikkyu (brown belt) in Jo-Do. Great work guys!

Mark Tarvin and Paul Tarvin received their 1st kyu in Toronto on December 5th.
Nate England received his 4th Dan in Okinawa on December 20th.
