Congratulations to Jason Spurlock who was promoted to Black Belt on September 21st.
Jason has been training in Karate for 35 years. He earned his 1st degree brown belt at the Kosho School of Karate in the 1988, after which he left Cincinnati for a career in the military. During his service, he was able to continue his martial arts training in Kempo, Aikedo, Goju Ryu Karate, Shotokan Karate, US Army MCAPS, and various Korean Styles. In 2016 after retiring from the military, he returned to Cincinnati and continued his training in Shuri Ryu Karate.
Jason is an excellent karate-ka, instructor, and family man. We are proud to have him as part of our dojo!
