The Kosho School of Karate was the location of the first ever ECUSKF Jodo Promotion Exam. This was only the 4th or 5th time a Jodo grading was held in the United States, and the first time in the Midwest. Until now, all Kosho students had to test for promotion internationally. 11 people tested for Ikkyu: Morgan Nakayama, Madison Nakayama, James Russell, Andy Wells, Bruse Stevens, Mark Nakayama, Charles Ham, and Tom Smith. 2 tested for 1st Dan: Ashley Hopkins & George Carr Jr. All passed! Great job everyone.
